Abaddon is an immersive board game, combining the meta-narrative elements of an alternate reality game with the mechanics and constraints of a traditional board game.

Players progress around a hand-crafted board by rolling a die and following the instructions on a series of cards. The cards are designed to gradually immerse the players in the narrative of the game's creator and others who have succumbed to the will of the game, sewing seeds of mistrust amongst the players.

Through the use of the slowly unwinding narrative and constantly-shifting game mechanics, Abaddon aims to call attention to the roles of designer and player in an entertaining and engaging way.

Abaddon was hand crafted in wood and clay.
